I am an experienced Windows Server and Linux Server administrator utilizing the VMware virtualization platform. Managing hundreds of servers, both physical and virtual, hosting infrastructure services as well as mission critical applications. In addition to system administration, I have experience managing server level and file level backups, database administration and security administration.

- Reporting to the ERP Director, acting as ERP infrastructure manager, technical lead and liason to the IT department.
- Providing technical guidance the ERP helpdesk, ERP Continuous Improvement and Implementation teams.
- Manage Azure based ERP Infrastructure including Linux and Windows based systems
- Support and manage legacy ERP application transitioning to an end of life status
- Manage application database backups
- providing technical guidance to the ERP Director
- Interfacing with third party vendors as the technical contact for the ERP team
- Taking ownership of an unmanaged Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment consisting of six production application servers, and 3 non-production servers and various Windows Servers used on both production and non-production workloads
- Redesigned production and non-production infrastructure to streamline environment naming schemes to easily identify the source production data in each non-production environment.
- Implementing non-production environments including Copy of Live, Test, Development, Learn and Upgrade. This new design allowed the Support, Continuous Improvement and Implementation Teams to have dedicated servers to complete projects, troubleshoot critical issues and train with real data copied from production environments

Supporting the Space and Science Engineering Division as a member of the Computer & Network Support Group. Duties include supporting MacOS users, assisting senior members of the team in supporting several Windows Servers including troubleshooting application issues, security patching and upgrades.

Primary duties included monitoring 40+ remote sites utilizing tools such as Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Network Configuration Manager (NCM), and Netflow Traffic Analyzer (NTA). Procuring, configuring, deploying and implementing Cisco devices at each site; including ASA Firewalls, Integrated Service Routers, Catalyst Switches and Wireless Access Points.
Special projects included assisting the Network Manager in implementing DMVPN and deploying Cisco ISE which involved a massive network segmentation and security implementation.
I was also able to utilize Python and Powershell to save time in reviewing Solarwinds email notifications by exporting an outlook folder to CSV and utilizing Python and Powershell to parse the CSV to create an easily readable Excel file that can be filtered and sorted.

Extremely broad responsibilities including infrastructure management, systems engineering and administration, network administration, backup administration, security patch management and everyday break/fix responsibilities on a wide variety of operating systems and infrastructure services.
Primarily a linux operation utilizing MicroFocus eDirectory and Groupware including file services running on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, I was a daily linux user in the shell. Windows Servers were also managed primarily as application servers that required Windows Server or other services such as Microsoft SQL Server.
Other responsibilities include researching, planning, deployment and management of multiple remote jobsite office networks. Including VLAN design and local ISP options, and coordinating with providers for service installations. this also includes documentation, and inventory management for all tasks.

While silumtaneously working as a Computer Technician at CCC Group, Inc., I briefly joined the Software Development Team. Primarily working on an in-house application, much of my time was spent developing new features utilizing Java. In my short time on the team, I was able to implement features that remain popular with the userbase to this day.

Hosted on linux and built with Wordpress, Specialized Construction Services needed to update their static, single page website. President and CEO Clayton Huebner wanted a dynamic, responsive website that looked beautiful on desktop or mobile devices.

Maintain home lab/network consisting of small business grade networking equipment including a Ubiquiti Edgerouter, two Ubiquiti access points and three Cisco Catalyst switches with multiple VLANs utilizing two FreeNAS storage servers, two ESXi hypervisor servers with direct links between each FreeNAS and ESXi machine for iSCSI storage.
